Asunta 5 Ventura is a sister seedling of Asunta 5 given to Richard Renshaw by Edgar Valdivia, this variety has beautiful white flower, oval shaped, red-violet flesh inside, very sweet with 21 Brix, several people have said Asunta 5 Ventura is one of their favorite and could potentially overtake the officially ASUNTA 5. The fruit is also bigger than many ASUNTA lines, weigh between 1.5 to 1.75 pounds. We acquired our Asunta 5 Ventura cutting directly from Richard Renshaw at his house in September 2022, Richard is also the admin of the Los Angeles Dragonfruit Growers FB group.
