Cosmic Charlie produces stunning magenta-fleshed fruit with a superb, grape-like flavor and a deep, complex profile that will delight friends and family. The fast-growing plant features green, three-sided growth with small spines on the ribs. Originally known as the 2S seedling, Cosmic Charlie was created by Paul Thomson and featured in his book Pitahaya. The 2S is a cross between the purple-fleshed Rixford variety and the white-fleshed Niezel variety. Leewi Farms acquired Cosmic Charlie from Spicy Exotics, a nursery in Lafayette, Louisiana, ensuring the authenticity and quality of this exceptional variety.
