Ohana Express is a rare hybrid variety cultivated in Hawaii, and this is where Ohana Express gets its name. Tye from Spicy Exotics collected this variety from Hawaii. The exterior skin is red with little green-tipped fins, thorns occur at the base of the fruit. Fruits were insanely sweet with brix at 20.8 and had a tangy berry flavor that lingered in your mouth. To achieve best flavor profile, pick the fruit 1 to 3 days after it begins to turn red. For a sweeter, less tangy fruit, leave it on the vine for 10 to 12 days after it turns red. We acquired Ohana Express directly from Tye of Spicy Exotics, just for your peace of mind.
