Sunset Sherbet dragon fruit variety was once known Asunta 5 Edgar. In order to differentiate this variety apart from the official Asunta 5, Richard Le of Grafting Dragon Fruit gave this variety the name Sunset Sherbet on August 11, 2021. As the name implies, this variety has flesh that tastes like fruity sherbet and skin that is the color of the setting sun. Truly a very great tasting dragon fruit cultivar with red flesh, brix 18, very sweet, little tart, and taste like guava-berry flavor.
